Dogs must hold a current Vaccination Certificate which
shall be produced prior to admission to the club, or admission
will be refused.

Dog handlers shall be responsible for the removal of any
faecal or other matter deposited on the surface of any training
ground used for classes by the Club. Handlers shall deposit such
material in the receptacle provided.
The training ground shall
be left tidy and, at a minimum standard, in the condition it was
found at the commencement of training.

Members are responsible at all times for the behaviour of
their dog/s whilst present on the training or trialing ground or
at any function attended whilst representing the Club. To this
purpose, dog owner/handler members of Springwood District Dog
Training Club Inc herein agree to indemnify members of the Club
from any liability for any injury howsoever occasioned to any
other member or dog by their dog or dogs. Members shall sign the
indemnity form as part of their Application for Membership prior
to being permitted to commence their first training session
accompanied by their dog and it is herein agreed that attendance
at training shall be construed as agreement to this as a term of
the Application for Membership.

No bitch in oestrum (season) shall be permitted to be
present on or around the training ground at any
time.

A
member shall not knowingly bring a dog to the training ground if
it is infected with a contagious disease.

Dogs shall be kept "on lead" at all times except in class
and under an instructor's active supervision.

Dogs shall not be tied up and/or left unattended at
training. If you wish to have a cuppa in the break, put your dog/s
in your car.

A
member shall not strike or ill treat a dog at any time,
ill-treatment of a dog shall at all times be a matter that may
give rise to suspension or expulsion from the Club by resolution
of the Committee of Management.

Thongs must not be worn in class as they can be dangerous
for the handler. As well as this the "slapping" noise may distract
some dogs. It is advisable to wear light coloured clothing and
suitable footwear.

Smoking is prohibited in class and inside the clubhouse.

Dogs and handlers are promoted to higher class as a "team".
If a different handler is involved with the dog,this handler too
must earn their promotion to a higher class.

Handlers are not permitted to use the jumps unless under
the active supervision of an instructor.Under no circumstances are
dogs under 12 months old allowed
to use the
jumps.

Children are only allowed to train dogs if they can control
them. This decision is at the discretion of the Instructor or the
Chief Instructor.
