Unfortunately Flyball is temporarily unavailable. Please feel free to read the information below with the knowledge that we hope to have Flyball available again later.
Flyball is a relay race between teams of four dogs, where they run over jumps to a flyball box, retrieve the ball, and then return over the jumps.
Any breed of dog can compete in flyball.
Flyball is much more competitive overseas, with big prizes at stake and supporters following their favourite teams.
Flyball in Australia is fairly new as far as competition goes, but hopefully, as flyball grows in Australia, our teams will become competitive overseas.
Obviously the faster the dog the better in a competition, but at the end of the day it’s all about fun, for you and your dog.
It is important to know your dog has no health issues such as heart or a bad back or hips as you don’t want to hurt them.
If you go to watch Flyball you will hear lots of barking and lots of laughter and that speaks for itself.
Our Club has flyball on a Friday night at Lomatia Park - you need to join the club and your dog must be vaccinated as all dogs in our club are.
